Where are my notes saved?

On this iPhone, inside the app. No account or server is required. Deleting the app may delete its local data, so keep backups.

How do I back up or move my notes?

Open Settings and choose Export backup. Save the file outside the app using Files. On another installation, choose Import notes and review the import before adding it. Importing adds copies without replacing current notes; importing twice creates duplicates.

What does password encryption protect?

The optional lock encrypts your notebook and full backups. Use a password of at least 12 characters and keep it safe. A lost password cannot be recovered. Single-note Markdown exports are readable files.

What if saving fails?

Keep the app open and export your work. The app reports the failure and retains work in memory. If the space cannot be opened, use the recovery export or previous local save. Restore can lose recent changes; export recovery data first.

Can I recover a deleted note?

Open the filter menu, choose Trash, then Restore. Permanent deletion cannot be undone from Trash. Independently exported backups may still contain the note.

How do I change language?

Open Settings, then App language. Choose English, العربية, or Device language. Existing notes and folders keep the text you wrote; changing language does not translate your content.

Can I sync or share a list?

These features are planned, but are not available in this release. All current local features are free, with no subscription or in-app purchases.

Where is the source code?

Download the iOS source, including the MIT license and build instructions. The internal project and bundle identifier retain the earlier development name Waraqa for compatibility.
